A Registered Massage Therapist is a licensed healthcare professional who has received extensive training in anatomy and physiology to aid in targeting and ultimately treat any pains you’re experiencing. Whether the pain is acute (sudden onset, usually from an injury), or chronic (long-term pains which may only be managed, not treated), your RMT will use a variety of techniques to relieve pain, tension and soreness.

Relaxation massages generally, are a little less intense than a therapeutic or deep tissue massage. Using rhythmic, flowing movements, your therapist will help you calm your entire body and mind. Anybody can benefit from a dose of relaxation!

Cupping: Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which special cups are put onto the skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Acupuncture: Acupuncture is the practice of treating conditions through triggering certain points on the skin with needles. There are many conditions people utilize acupuncture for such as allergies, migraines, insomnia, osteoarthritis & more.
Paraffin: A person can use paraffin wax as a form of heat therapy. This may help relieve stiff muscles and joints by improving circulation and increasing blood flow to the area.
Hot Stones: Hot stones may be placed on different area of the body to help with relaxation and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body.
