Jennifer Krulicki

Owner/Admin/Massage Therapy

 

With a passion for helping individuals achieve optimum health and wellness, Jennifer embarked on her journey in the world of massage therapy after graduating from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in 2011. During her training, she was honored with the prestigious Principal's Award of Excellence, recognizing her unwavering dedication to mastering her craft and providing top-notch care to her clients. Initially working with a physiotherapy clinic, Jennifer honed her abilities in the treatment and assessment of acute and chronic issues, rehabilitation, and the art of maintenance and wellness massage.

In 2013, Jennifer decided to venture out on her own, founding River Rock Massage Therapy Clinic. While Jennifer is currently not accepting new clients, she remains deeply enthusiastic about her role in shaping the future of the clinic. Her focus is on her current clients and the continued expansion and growth of River Rock Massage Therapy Clinic to provide outstanding care and services that promote health, balance, and vitality.

Sandee McIntyre

Front Desk/Admin/Nutrition Coach

 

Sandee comes to us from working many years in government administration after realizing that she needed to change her work/balance. She is one of the first people that you see when you come into the clinic and is an integral part of keeping the clinic running smoothly.

Sandee is a certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition, as well as a certified Sleep, Stress Management and Recovery Coach who’s main focus is helping you get you control of your life again. Wellness Coaching looks at all aspects of your life, both physical and mental, and works together to create balance and stability on needs in this ever changing world.

Sandee has many years experience working towards creating not only balance for her clients but also herself during her own wellness journey.

 

 

 

 

Mickey Wharton

Meet Marielle aka Mickey aka Jenn’s Mom!


Mickey has always been involved in family businesses, with her and her husband, Jeff, owning and operating a moving & storage business in Winnipeg for over 25 years. As an owner she had to learn all aspects of the business, from sales, to dispatch to driving truck and even helping Jeff move pianos. In 2010 they sold the business and Mickey retired shortly thereafter.

Mickey is now passing on her knowledge of owning a business to her daughter, Jenn. “It was an honour to be asked by Jenn to provide my experience in office management and book keeping. I’m very proud to have been on this journey with Jenn and watching her grow her business. I look forward to more years with the team!”

When she's not working, Mickey enjoys spending time with her husband to whom she's been married to for over 39 years, and her 2 beautiful daughters and 5 precious grandchildren.

Samantha Richardson

Massage Therapy

Hailing from Riverton, MB, Samantha is a graduate of Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. After working as a certified Health Care aid for some time, Samantha's Mother in Law told her she should look into Massage Therapy. Ever since she was young, she remembers enjoying helping people, so Massage Therapy was a natural fit. "Best decision I ever made! I look forward to helping you on your journey to recovery."

Samantha is registered in Therapeutic (assessment and treatment), Rehabilitation, Maintenance, Deep Tissue, and Relaxation Massage Therapy.

Alison Gel

Massage Therapy

Alison has more than 25 years experience as a Registered Massage Therapist as a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Her career path has taken her to many places in Canada as well as the Caribbean! She moved to Gimli in 2018 and chose to continue her practice at River Rock Massage Therapy.

Alison utilizes many techniques in her treatment plans from Myofascial Therapy to Trigger Point Therapy. Alison's main treatment goal with massage therapy is to help facilitate and maintain optimal function for her clients.

Andrea Klassen

Massage Therapy/Acupuncture/Reiki

Andrea left a career in IT to follow her passion and became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2016 after graduating from Wellington College. To better serve her clients, she has taken supplementary training in a number of areas including acupuncture, cupping, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, breast massage, CranioSacral Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care. Andrea loves problem-solving and working with people to help them improve their health, wellness, and recover from injuries.

Andrea has competed in many sports over the years, including soccer, biathlon, bodybuilding, long distance running and as a result has direct experience with many sports-related injuries. She also served in the army reserves for many years and has a unique understanding of the many physical and mental challenges posed by doing front-line work. Because of this background she has taken a keen interest in working with people dealing with PTSD as well as concussions and other brain injuries.

In addition to massage, Andrea also offers acupuncture, cupping and paraffin wax treatments.

Ashley Rechik

Massage Therapy/Reiki/Japanese Facial Massage

Born and raised in Arborg, Manitoba Ashley graduated from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba where she honed in on her skills. In addition to performing therapeutic and relaxation massages here at River Rock, Ashley is currently taking training to become an Infant Massage Instructor.

When she's not at work, Ashley loves to spend time with loved ones, be in the outdoors and volunteers with Ducks Unlimited Manitoba.

Ashley is trained in Relaxation and therapeutic massage, cupping, hot stone, CranioSacral Level 1, Aroma-Touch.

Megan Specula

Massage Therapy

Megan graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy and has been a member of MTAM since 2019. She is skilled in Swedish, deep tissue and hot stone massage. Megan is looking forward to continuing her education and offering new modalities to better serve her clients and grow as a massage therapist.

Katelyn Hildebrand

Massage Therapy

Katelyn is a graduate from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba and has been practicing as an RMT for 8 years. Her family, pets and spending time outdoors are some of many interests she enjoys in her down time. As an Orthopedic Massage Therapist, Katelyn excels in treating clients of all ages with many different ailments. She has a passion for helping clients who suffer from anxiety, stress and headaches. She also is trained in cupping, myofascial release, TMJ treatments and palliative/compassionate care.

Dmitry was born and raised in South Ukraine in the beautiful city of Kherson, right near the Dnipro river and the Black Sea. He has over 5 years experience in massage, including 2 years in Canada. Right now, he will only be offering relaxation massages to clients while he works towards his RMT schooling at Wellington College.

Massage Therapy Student

Jazlee is a Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies student, currently in her second year of studies. Born and raised in Winnipeg Beach, she is excited to be able to provide massage services to the community she loves. With a passion for health and wellness, Jazlee looks forward to helping others learn about the importance of taking care of their bodies while providing massage therapy to aide in that. She is excited to learn off her fellow coworkers and join this amazing team!

Holistic Nutrition

Elizabeth is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist as a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Holistic Nutrition is a natural approach that addresses the physical, mental and emotional components to health. Elizabeth will look at the body as a whole by connecting symptoms to the body systems involved and uses food and lifestyle to bring the body back into balance.

Sihem Spigiel

Reflexology

 

Sihem graduated from the Limon Start Fresh College of Reflexology and became a member of the Reflexology Association of Canada as a Certified Reflexology Therapist. Sihem was born in Algeria and grew up in Germany. She recently moved to Canada in the beautiful town of Riverton, MB in 2016 where she currently resides with her family. Sihem has a passion for helping others and treating a wide variety of conditions using her skills and knowledge from her reflexology training.

Nickeeya Malenfant

Reiki Master/Palmistry

 

Nickeeya has been a certified Reiki Master/Teacher with the tradition of the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing since 2011. She also has additional knowledge in chakra healing and palmistry. Nickeeya offers and holds space for her clients to find relaxation, serenity and deeper connection to self and source. She sees where the Reiki is going and where the flow of life energy may be stuck, stagnant or flowing freely in the client. Through observation of this, both the client and Nickeeya can gain great insight into the individual’s healing journey. Reiki can reveal new-found insights and assist in healing and harmonizing the mind, body and spirit. Nickeeya has personally witnessed in herself and others, astounding results. Reiki is so gentle yet powerful in how it moves and has the potential to reveal what one needs to know for their unique healing journey.

Kristy Wick

Osteopath

Kristy graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario with a Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Forestry). She worked for various Ontario Public Sector branches before returning to school to study manual osteopathy. She always had a passion for natural health and found osteopathy was a great fit. She graduated from the 4 year Master Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family hiking or at the beach.

Tammy Bocek

Clinical Counsellor

Tammy is originally from the Interlake Region of Manitoba but lived in Whitehorse, Yukon for more than a decade before moving back to the Gimli area. Her goal is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where clients have the freedom to fully express themselves. Expressing oneself allows a person to move forward with healthier patterns and start healing emotional wounds that are taking a toll on their life and holding them back. Therapy is also a place for people to discover their strengths, uniqueness, and passions. Tammy has supported individuals who are experiencing trauma, grief, family estrangement, mood disorders, workplace conflict, and other life challenges. Together, the client and Tammy will determine the best therapeutic pathways that align with the individual’s goals and needs.

Tammy holds a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree and is currently accepting new clients.
