Meet Heather Dickson
Heather is originally from Hamiota, MB but lived in Winnipeg until 1981 when she moved with her family to BC. Now back in Manitoba, Heather is excited to offer counselling services to individuals in our area. Her approach is client centered, compassionate and nonjudgmental. She has worked extensively in all aspects of the field of addiction and is also well versed in other areas such as trauma, grief, loss and other life challenges. Additionally, Heather is a certified art therapist and has a Masters in Counselling Psychology.
Meet Tammy Bocek
Tammy is originally from the Interlake Region of Manitoba but lived in Whitehorse, Yukon for more than a decade before moving back to the Gimli area. Her goal is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where clients have the freedom to fully express themselves. Expressing oneself allows a person to move forward with healthier patterns and start healing emotional wounds that are taking a toll on their life and holding them back. Therapy is also a place for people to discover their strengths, uniqueness, and passions. Tammy has supported individuals who are experiencing trauma, grief, family estrangement, mood disorders, workplace conflict, and other life challenges. Together, the client and Tammy will determine the best therapeutic pathways that align with the individual’s goals and needs.
Tammy holds a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree and is currently accepting new clients.
